LeBron James scored 30 points and Dwayne Wade 24 for the Heat, who won on the back of 14 unanswered points late in the fourth quarter.
James' tally saw him become the first player to ever score 30 points and make 60 percent of his shots in six straight games, to add another record to his CV.
Portland's Damian Lillard led all scorers with 33 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge added 29.
Al Jefferson scored 23 points to help the Utah Jazz beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 109-94.
