Steve Harmison England practice bowls 3rd Test 2008

Harmison: Back for England

Sky Bet expect Steve Harmison to outshine Stuart Broad when the pair return to Test action at The Oval.

Following the news that the pair have been called into the England side to take on South Africa in Thusday's fourth Test, the layers are offering 11/8 for the Durham paceman to take more wickets than Broad.

The match will be Harmison's first outing since the defeat against New Zealand at Hamilton in March, but nonetheless he is rated more highly than Broad who returns after just one match out.

Broad is a 9/4 chance in the market with a tie priced up at 13/8.

Sky Bet are offering 11/10 for Harmison to take under 3.5 wickets in the match and 4/6 to take over 3.5 wickets. It's even money for Broad to get over 3.5 wickets in the match.

The Harrogate-based firm are also offering a number of batsman match bets, including new England skipper Kevin Pietersen against opposite number Graeme Smith. The prices are 5/6 each of two.

Potless Rangers?

The season could hardly have started any worse for Rangers and they are now just 11/4 with Sky Bet not to win any trophies this campaign.

The Gers were sent crashing out of Europe when Linas Pilibaitis snatched a late winner as FBK Kaunas beat Walter Smith's side 2-1 in their make-or break Champions League qualifier.

And Sky Bet have responded by opening a market on what Rangers win this season - making one trophy their 11/10 favourite.

It's 9/4 about two and 10/1 about them winning the domestic treble.

Lee evens for hat-trick

Lee Westwood is an even money shot to bag a top 20 spot in the final major of the year in Sky Bet's exclusive top 20 USPGA market.

Westwood, who disappointed in last month's British Open, has managed to finish third and 11th in the other two American majors and has been backed in from 33/1 to 25/1 to win at Oakland Hills this week.

Paul Casey and Robert Karlsson, who have both succeeded in finishing in the top 20 in all three majors this year are 6/4 and 7/4 respectively to continue that trend.

The only other player to have managed this feat is favourite Phil Mickelson who is 4/11 for another top 20 finish.

Sky Bet's Andy Thorp said: "The top five and top ten markets are always popular and the top twenty market for the majors has generated just as much interest as it gives customers a chance to back a player to perform well without ever really contending for the tournament."

Ajax 11/4 to clean up

The Amsterdam tournament gets underway this Friday and it will mark Marco van Basten's first match in charge of Ajax and Sky Bet are offering 11/4 for the ex-Holland manager to win the tournament on home soil, with Arsenal and Inter Milan the 15/8 favourites.

Van Basten's first match will see his Ajax team take on Arsenal and it's 6/4 for Ajax to win, 6/4 for the Gunners to win and 11/5 the draw.

Jose Mourinho's Inter side kick-off the tournament against Seville and Sky Bet are offering 6/5 for an Inter victory, 15/8 for Seville to come away victorious and 11/5 the draw.
