Torres: Roared back to form

Golden Boot favourite Fernando Torres has warned the rest of the Premier League he is edging closer to his top form.

Torres, who enjoyed a fantastic debut season at Anfield last term scoring 33 goals in all competitions, had a slow start to this term by his own high expectations, scoring only once in the club's opening five Premier League games.

Evander Holyfield is an 11/2 chance with Sky Bet to become the oldest ever WBA heavyweight champion by beating current champ Nikolay Valuev.

According to a report on ESPN.com, the fight will take place in either Switzerland or Germany in late December.

A four-time heavyweight champion, Holyfield (42-9-2, 27 KOs) would become the oldest fighter to win the crown if he defeats Valuev as he turns 46 on October 19.

And Sky Bet's prices, which stand as long as the fight takes place before the end of this year, are 1/10 Valuev and 9/2 Holyfield.

Holyfield has not fought since losing a unanimous decision to Sultan Ibragimov, the then-WBO heavyweight champion, on October 13, 2007.
