Hattonhits the heights of Mount Charleston
I have phoned my family and they told me it has been snowing in England. It's starting to get cold over here too. It was down from 90 degrees to 87 yesterday!

Quotes of the week
Well this is the second week of training and things are going well.
When I am in training I call it the monastery. The reason being, I live like a monk!
But this time is even more intense. I used to run in the evenings after gym work in England but Floyd wants me to run in the mountains first thing in the morning.
That means early to bed every night and up running in the mountains. I was running up Mount Charleston at 5,000 feet above sea level today - and believe me, there is plenty of gas in the tank.
I did manage to get into Vegas on Saturday to do some shopping and then popped into the MGM for a flutter. And I won $300.00. Lovely jubbly!
My second sparring partner arrived on Monday. His name is Dominic Salcido from California.
He has a style similar to Paulie's and together with Timothy Coleman, they make sure I am getting first-class sparring.
I have phoned my family and they told me it has been snowing in England. It's starting to get cold over here too. It was down from 90 degrees to 87 yesterday!
With all the air conditioning over here its easy to forget where you are, but we had a reminder on Monday when our Matt was about to start sparring.
Lee Beard noticed something on his back and when he checked... it was a scorpion. Now he is checking all his kit every time he puts something on!
During the evenings after training we have a card school at the house, when we play a game called Crash.
It's me, Matt, Speakie and Val and at the moment our Matt is winning - he always does - but I am making a comeback!
David Haye could be made to wait for a shot at the world heavyweight title with the Klitschko brothers lining up different opponents.
Floyd Mayweather Snr insists that Ricky Hatton has what it takes to beat Manny Pacquiao.
Manchester lightweight John Murray will defend his British title against Lee McAllister at the Robin Park Centre in Wigan on January 17.
Olympic gold medallist James DeGale and Great Britain head coach Terry Edwards are revelling in their inclusion on the New Year Honours List.
Frank Warren is excited by the number of potential champions coming through the ranks.
