Chelsea could have the greatest season in their history if they can pip Manchester United to the Premier League title and then defeat them in Moscow to win the Champions League final.
But, even if that happens, The Supplement panel are still not convinced that Avram Grant will still be in charge at Stamford Bridge next season.
The Israeli coach has been criticised throughout his tenure and took time to win over the fans, some of which are still not convinced.
Here's what the panel think:
Will Grant be manager at Chelsea next season?
Shaun Custis, The Sun: "I don't know. At the moment he has been told that he is not guaranteed to start next season.
"He must get credit because I cannot believe that if you had a manager that's hated by the players he wouldn't be in this position."
Henry Winter, Daily Telegraph: "Only one person knows and that's Abramovich. I have to say I'm not a huge admirer of Grant in the terms of the way he got the job."
It was always going to be mission impossible to follow in the footsteps of The Special One, but do you feel Grant has been given a rough ride?
Do you think he will be in charge at The Bridge next season? Let us know by filling in the feedback form below.

If Avram has nothing to do with the results, and anyone could bring them, then how come the special one himself couldn't...? how come chelsea players perform better since Avram got there? Also - how come when the team lost he was to blame, and now he doesn't get credit? Be fair.

I cant believe some of the comments i read!!. Grant has done a great job, why? because he believes the club is bigger then him as dose ALEX and Wenger. Jose was a good manager , however with all the money he had at his disposal who could not have been. He believed he was bigger then the club , his comments were arrogant and self righteous. Abrobovitch was fed up of the man he gave all too, with out the Russian Chelsea would be below Spurs in the table. Avram chooses the Team , he motivates them and directs them anyone who thinks otherwise is not a person who understands football. Avram is held in high regard by Wenger and Alex, there must be a reason. and if you all remember 12 years ago a nobody came to Arsenal, we all know what happened there !!! Jose was not the special one he was a joke with big pockets, i am surprise the Russian was fooled for so long

Give Avram the credit he deserves, his record is very good and yet the Chelsea fans still can't see it. He is in a position where Chelsea can win the league still but more likely finish second on level points with Man u and he has reached the champions league final which if he can win will be fantastic! So I think its time people got behind him and congratulated him on a good job so far.

I am amazed at how many Chelsea fans are against Avram Grant, and not for him but for the fans I hope Chelsea loose em both, he will be blamed anyway. Of course it's all newspaper talk they are annoyed having lost the special one and the Chelsea fans have swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Frank Rykard would be just the job, Barca haven't won anything either.

Avram Grant deserves respect, when he took over chelsea the players morale had completely gone. Since then he picked them, i personaly dont believe that its avram grant that got us to the CC final, the CL final and in the most thrilling title race of my lifetime. Nor do i believe that its the players that got us where we are. I believe they both worked together. Personaly i would like to avram leave chelsea not for being under qualified or not good enough but because he doesnt utilise youth unlike most top managers. Seriously how many times did our upcoming players (sinclair, sahar, woods, smith) play? i think sahar got one match off the bench and that was it. I dont want any manager in charge who doesnt field our top youth players atleast in the carling cup / early stages of FA cup or against bottom 5 teams when we are at home. I want chelsea to become a top team, people say they are but top teams dont rely on bringing in world class players they also help bring new ones into the game, and for this reason alone i want avram grant gone!!

I must give a lot of credit to Grant, but the thing is that, just like the case with Real Madrid Last season. The board sacked the manager, because they knew that it was the players in fact that won the title, not the manager! Here lies the same case with Chelsea FC, at the moment, i don't think that the manager is really making a difference, it is the players. At the postive side, he has given Chelsea its first champions league final in their history. If he does not deliver a trophy(ies) this season, then he will be sacked, mainly the champions league, because thats where Abrahamovic is from, and wants the trophy at his home. I suggest that he should be replaced by mourinho again, or lippi.

Im a massive fan of Chelsea and even though everyone expects me to be a fan of Grant as well, I'm not. Firstly, the way he got the job was really disappointing and yes we have got very far this season but i strongly believe that thats our players work. Were extremely fortunate in the way that we have top class players that have dealt with this in the most amazing way. And for that reason, i believe that it is the players who have bought us this far and i can only hope that they take us further and win us the double! But i do hope that we get a different manager next season.

Quite simply Anyone with half a football brain & a smattering of line-management skills could have taken over Jose's built team & taken it onto where they are now. Avram has done what was expected of him & as well as anyone could have expected. But do not for a moment believe that the selecting, purchasing & forging of these international players by Jose is not what is the foundation of what is today Chelsea. I object to Avram being in charge solely on the basis he has no credentials, no pedigree, no track record & neither does he have any such experience as a player to permit him to have gained the opportunity in the first place. He is there by association, that friendship with the money man behind the newly-built Chelsea. Add to this, his less than honourable decision to have understudied Jose & then sneaked in the back door at the first opportunity. For these reasons alone he dose not deserve to be permitted to continue on what Jose built & the job should be given to a real football brain, a genuine football coach with a suitable track record that entitles him to hold this highly coveted position. Avram has indeed done well, he has not destroyed that which Joes built, but give him (at best an amateur manager) a second season in charge & he will crash the entire empire. Sorry but it's just not acceptable in professional football.

I think Grant has done a better job then he gets credit for. You cannot have a good team without good manager. I think Mourinho was hyped up too much by media. We must remember he won champions league with porto by beating MU without keane and ferdinand and with a disallowed goal from scholes. He probably had the easiest draw of with lyon, deportivo and monaco none of which had won the CL. When he won the 2 premiership he spent around 300 million £ on players. Chelsea were the most boring team to watch under him. Give grant some time. Let him buy the players he want then decide his fate after a season

I am totally different from people that believe Grant should remain incharge because for us to be in champions league final is not Grant doing but for the players who worked hard and determined to be in final. If you look back at all our matches you will see that we lacked manager's tactic but full of individual skills

If Chelsea want to do better its working with Grant is what they need to do. Chelsea is a dream team. But because the players are from all different countries and there style of football is different Grant has not used this to his advantage as other clubs have. e.g. Manchester United. If you keep Grant in charge the team will collapse

I think avram has kept the squad together under all this stress and commotion that has been going on at the club. He surely deserves more credit for moving the club in this direction. In terms of style and panarche, it still the special ones way. He deserves to stay if he does make history in winning the champions league and pip man utd to the premiership. Next season will be under review for him, lets wait and see.

I think Grant knew from the start he was never there long term. It would have been dangerous to bring in a big personality in so early in the at the beginning of the season, so Chelsea needed a stop gap and Grant provided, for the want of experience in coaching premier league football. I don't know whether he's obtained his pro license yet. full credit to a man to get this far, but then arguaubly, who cannot win the games he's won with the team Chelsea currently have? Grant will step down this summer and move back to director or something and Chelsea will bring a big personality to the club, like RIjkaard to keep the fans happy, and provide the free flowing football that Abramovic craves. Also, CHelsea hope to lure players like Kaka to the Bridge, buth ow can they achieve this when the player sees themself joining a club and working under a manager with no credentials? They have to appoint a big name in charge of the club purely to grow as a club, or else they're going to head as they were earlier in the season..... down

I feel that Avram will be axed. He's not quality. He just happens to have quality players who happen to have performed well under him, and have got over Jose after their initial moaning. If anyone should be congratulated it's the people who were there when Jose was there and who are still there. Because they have kept the results. Now for the manager next season. Well Rikjaard's coming to Chelsea, and Jose's going to Barca...Avram will get a FAT paycheck so I doubt he'll be worrying about his job next season. Even if he wins nothing. If Jose manages Barca, I suspect the Pepsi Max ad. could bare some truth with Lampard, Fabregas, Messi...oh hang on Beckham ruins it somewhat.

I know its a bit harsh, but if Grant dosent win the champions league or premiership he is out of there. But if he wins at least one he should get another chance but i'd rather have the special one or frank rikaard in charge.

all season i have expressed the view that avram grant was not fit to manage chelsea.however, after recent results and the courage of the man to stand tall in all the critisism he has recieved he deserves much respect.also he is just begining to get chelsea moving the right way once again.i say give the guy a chance.let him start next season as chelsea manager.if things go horribly wrong then do something about it as what happened with the special one in 2007.
