Chelsea FanZone blogger Nicholas Padayache is over the moon that Frank Lampard has committed himself to the Blues, rather than link-up again with the Special One, and he has his eyes on the Premier League prize in 2008/09.

Fantastic news this week! Frank Lampard's signed a new five-year deal with Chelsea. He's my favourite Chelsea player and you can be sure whether it's his right foot, left foot, head or any deflection you know were Super Frankie Lampard is putting that ball - in the back of the net.

The worst thing would have been to see him play under Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan, that would just hurt me too much, to see two of the best for Chelsea with another team.

Now Frankie's signed, my thoughts for the forthcoming season are all about the league title. The Premiership is the milestone as far as I'm concerned. We've got to bring that trophy back to the Bridge! Some people say 50 years is too long to wait, well the last two years have been killing me. Any other trophy we win this season will be a bonus.

In terms of transfers this summer, I like Deco and have always been a big fan of his. I just hope he can cut it in the Premier League.

I have no doubts that Jose Boswinga could be one of the greatest right-backs in the world - he is quick, knows when to put his foot in and likes attacking on the right flank. And his relationship with 'Big Phil' is second to none.

Sunday's game against Pompey will be no rollover. Harry Redknapp has got a well-organised team and with little and large up front they can cause problems. But with the mighty home record that Chelsea have, I don't see Pompey breaking that.
