Following his victory over Eric Molina it was confirmed that Anthony Joshua will face Wladimir Klitschko next at Wembley Stadium on April 29th

David Haye says Anthony Joshua has picked the "perfect time" to face Wladimir Klitschko after their heavyweight world title fight at Wembley was confirmed for April 29.

The IBF champion successfully defended his belt with a clinical third-round stoppage of Eric Molina, prompting the immediate announcement of his next fight against Klitschko at the national stadium, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"The only thing I worry about is the lack of punch volume from Wladimir Klitschko in his last fight," Haye told Sky Sports Box Office.

I think this is the perfect time for him to beat Wladimir Klitschko, who still is a massive name in the division.

"When he needed to let his hands go, he put his foot down and there was no gas in the tank. I'm not sure if he still has it?

"I think this is the perfect fight for Anthony Joshua. I think this is the perfect time for him to beat Wladimir Klitschko, who still is a massive name in the division. But I believe Joshua is too young, too fresh, and he's on too much good form."

Klitschko will attempt to regain the IBF and vacant WBA belts he lost in that points loss to Tyson Fury in November 2015, but Haye raised concerns about the 41-year-old's inactivity.

"You can only go by current form and in the last fight he had against Tyson Fury, he refused to let his hands go. He couldn't pull the trigger," said the former WBA heavyweight champion.

"By the time the fight happens, he will be 41 years of age, and he will have been pretty much 18 months out of the ring.

"It's terrible preparation to fight someone so young and someone who has been fighting so regularly."
