Timothy Bradley has warned fellow world welterweight champion Kell Brook to be wary of the threat posed by Diego Chaves.

IBF king Brook takes on Chaves (23-2-1-KO19) in Sheffield on October 24 live on Sky Sports Box Office and Bradley, who retained his WBO crown against the Argentinian via a split draw in December last year, is championing the challenger.

The American said: "It's a tough fight for Kell Brook, he doesn't realise that.

"Diego Chaves is underrated. He has had a few opportunities and came up short but the guy can box and he can fight on the inside, he has good power in both hands and Chaves can mix it up.

I think it's a tough fight for Brook but if he can get him out of there then Brook is something special, I can tell you that much.

Chaves' record is an impressive one. Although he has lost twice, those defeats came at the hands of WBA champion Keith Thurman and former world champion Brandon Rios - and Bradley believes his all-action style can pose questions to any fighter.

Brook is expecting a stiff test against Diego Chaves in October

Bradley added: "Chaves gave Keith Thurman problems, he gave myself problems and he was giving Brandon Rios problems too. He's a great fighter and I think it's a dangerous fight for Kell Brook."
