Wladimir Klitschko will have no "second chance" if he suffers defeat against Anthony Joshua at Wembley, says the Ukrainian's brother Vitali.

The 41-year-old Klitschko has dismissed any talk of retirement ahead of this Saturday's world title fight against Joshua, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

But Vitali, the former WBC champion, told Sky Sports' 'Behind The Ropes' that his younger brother knows the significance of his upcoming clash with Joshua.

"Wladimir right now is focusing on the fight. He knows from this fight a lot depends on his future and his career," said the 45-year-old Vitali, who quit the sport in 2012.

"It's the time to think about stopping and not fighting anymore, or continue his career."

Klitschko produced a strangely subdued performance when his world titles were ripped away in a points defeat by Tyson Fury in 2015.

Vitali admits the former unified champion could find it hard to continue his career if he suffers defeat and expects him to take command from the opening bell.

"Everything, his future depends on him, and that's why if Joshua loses the fight, he has a lot of space, because of his age. He has a next time to fight, to try to be the world champion.
