Nicola Adams' Las Vegas debut was called off shortly before it was due to start.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist was ready to take on Hungarian Alexandra Vlajk on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin against Saul Alvarez at the T-Mobile Arena, on Saturday night.
But just before the 11pm BST start time, a problem with Vlajk's pre-contest blood test emerged, forcing the Leeds welterweight's third professional fight to be called off.
Taylor out to make history
Katie Taylor will fight for world title on Joshua-Pulev undercard in the Principality Stadium, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
She tweeted: "I'm devastated that I'm not boxing tonight, due to a problem with my opponent, thank you everyone for your support and kind messages."
Adams jumped at the late chance to appear on the high-profile card, hoping to realise an ambition she has held since the days when she would stay up into the early hours to watch her heroes on television.
The 34-year-old made her professional debut in April, out-pointing Virginia Noemi Carcamo and then made her Leeds homecoming in May, stopping Maryan Salazar in the third.
