Britain fielded four debutants including a Swede and a Moroccan but they were powerless as the Kazakhs soared to the top of Group B.
Bantamweight Miras Zhakupov got the hosts off to a winning start by taking all five rounds against Gamal Yafai, before lightweight Yerzhan Mussafirov saw off Scottish Olympian Josh Taylor to extend the lead.
Kazakhstan's Israeli hardman Konstantin Snigur overcame middleweight Aston Brown in a thrilling encounter in which the British 21-year-old just fell short.
It was pretty evenly matched in the first two rounds of the light heavyweight (80-85kg) showdown with both Ainar Karlon of the Kazak team and 31-year-old Swede Babacar Kamara scoring well.
Kamara may have been in front after three rounds but Karlon gave up his switch-hitting tactics and came on strong in the closing rounds.
At heavyweight Filip Hrgovic and London Olympian Mohamed Arjaoui went head to head but the Croatian's jab proved dominant and his good footwork kept him out of trouble as he claimed a convincing win.
A strong Lionhearts side is expected to return to host the German Eagles at Earl's Court next Friday, when Kazakhstan are once again at home to Italia Thunder.
