The Olympic gold medallist made it three wins from three as a professional when stopping Hrvoje Kisicek in the second round of their fight last week.
Joshua later complained of a 'niggling' shoulder problem, which has been diagnosed as a bicep injury, and has been advised to skip this outing.
It is still hoped the heavyweight prospect will be able to fight again before the year is out, when he is slated to take on Dorian Darch at the Excel Arena on December 14.
"Got a mild shoulder injury, the medical team have advised me to rest. I cant argue. Time to re focus for Dec14th! Until next time Manchester," he tweeted.
