The 24-year-old Olympic gold medalist has recorded five relatively facile stoppage wins in his professional career to date but will not alter his tactics in a bid to 'put rounds in the bank.'
Joshua, who has dispatched all his professional opponents inside two rounds or less, said: "If I see a weakness in my opponent, I'm going to exploit it because if I get caught or beat, I'll regret not having taken the chance. Not every fight is going to be a knockout.
"I prepare for tough fights. I look forward to these guys that will really test me because pressure brings out the best in me.
"It's pretty simple. I've just become a bit more dedicated and kept my life simple. When I first started, I was a bit of a wild child. I wouldn't say I took it for granted but now I really enjoy what I'm doing and want to make the most of it.
"It was a big decision to go pro but I'll never regret it. I'm happy with where I'm at and the team I've got. Now I'm five fights in, it's a great honour to be part of one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.
"I'm starting the show but hopefully one day I'll be headlining. I hope to start the night off with a bang. I've got a domestic fighter who's coming to give it a go. He'll be trying to catch me so may the best man win."
The main event in front of what is likely to be an 80,000 sell-out at Wembley sees Froch and Groves renew hostilities, and Joshua is thrilled at the prospect of a super-fight taking place in his hometown.
He added: "I really wish the best of luck to Carl Froch and George Groves and wish them the best of health because they're in for a war. I just hope they come out on the good side, shake eachother's hands and live to fight another day."
