  •

    Over 15 WI 26/3 (Samuels 15, Simmons 3)

Riaz continues, with Ajmal bowling spin from the other end. Another good combination of bowling for Pakistan. A loose shot from Samuels, lucky he did not get bat on it. This will be a test for the West Indian middle order, the pressure building and some good bowling to bat against. After 15 overs, West Indies are 26 for 3.

  •

    Over 14 WI 25/3 (Samuels 14, Simmons 3)

The sun is bright and warm and the umbrellas come out. Ajmal to continue with the required rate almost touching 5.5 per over. A big shout against Simmons for lbw but it may have been going down leg. Simmons not picking Ajmal at all, just a single from the over.

Here is spin in the form of Saeed Ajmal. A couple of runs from his over, two singles.

  •

    Over 10 WI 20/3 (Samuels 11, Simmons 0)

First bowling change for Pakistan, Riaz comes in to bowl. Riaz gets the edge but it falls short of the stumps. A maiden from Riaz, West Indies 20 for 3 after 11.

  •

    Over 8 WI 11/3 (Samuels 3, Simmons 0)

  •

    Over 7 WI 9/3 (Samuels 2, Simmons 0)

Irfan continues, in his 4th over now. Irfan going across Samuels, almost gets the edge again. Samuels was dismissed in the tri-nation series in a similar way and Pakistan have done their homework on him. After 7 overs, West Indies are 9 for 3.

Ali keeps the pressure on with some good bowling, Samuels looks out of touch with some poor timing. Samuels off the mark with an outside edge, a single to third man.

  •

    Over 5 WI 7/3 (Samuels 0, Simmons 0)

WICKET! After a edged boundary from Bravo, Irfan gets his edge and is caught behind. Bravo walks even before the umpire gives him out. Another big appeal, first ball to Samuels but it may have been pitching outside leg. Then he goes across Samuels and almost gets the edge. WICKET! Misbah hits the stumps and Gayle is short of his ground. If the good bowling was not enough to get the wickets, some good fielding definitely is, West Indies lose Gayle to a suicidal single. Two wickets in that over.

    Over 4 WI 3/1 (Gayle 1, Darren Bravo 1)

Ali keeps going past Darren Bravo's outside edge, Bravo beaten a few times with the ball seaming away. A single from the last ball.

  •

    End of Innings

Pakistan finish their innings with 224 for 9, they were in all sorts of trouble at 23 for 4, but a partnership between Misbah and Afridi rebuilt their innings. Good bowling from Holder at the start of the innings, took the early wickets to put West Indies on top. WI need 225 from to win.

  •

    Over 50 Pak 224/9 (Irfan 4, Ajmal 15)

Ajmal swings and gets two at midwicket, mishit again but he is getting some runs for Pakistan. Much better shot this time, straight down the ground and gets a single. Ajmal not happy with Ali as there was a couple of runs there but Ali drops the bat. Ali comes down the pitch and hits it over the midwicket for a six, good shot. Ali is bowled and Bravo gets the WICKET with a yorker. One ball to go in the innings, one wicket remaining and Pakistan need as many runs as they can get. •

    Over 47 Pak 198/7 (Misbah 52, Ajmal 5)

Misbah takes the single from the first ball. Ajmal picks up a single on the leg side to bring the captain on strike. Another fifty for Misbah, anchoring the Pakistani innings as he has done over the years. Ajmal tries to pull it, but only manages a single from a inside edge. Misbah goes for a quick single, and will get two because of a misfield from Bravo.

  •

    Over 46 Pak 192/7 (Misbah 48, Ajmal 3)

Bravo starts with a wide, Pakistan have scored only 15 runs from the last five overs, this is not the end to their innings they were looking for. Roach continues, and Pakistan needs at least one batsman to hit and get some runs while Misbah holds up the other end. Three runs from the over, 7 overs to go, Pakistan will be looking for 230 or 250.

  •

    Over 42 Pak 177/6 (Misbah 39, Riaz 5)

Good fielding from Darren Bravo on the boundary, but Pollard misses a run out as he does not collect it. Misbah knocks it into the leg side for a single. Four runs from the over.

Pollard starts with a wide and then Misbah takes a single to bring Afridi on strike. Pollard goes through his run up, Afridi walks down the pitch but Pollard does not release the ball, a bit of aggression from both.

  •

    Over 36 Pak 149/5 (Misbah 27, Afridi 68)

The power play has been taken, will Afridi look to accelerate or will he give his wicket away. Misbah tries the reverse sweep and misses it completely, getting it on the toe of the bat. Afridi plays a shot that can be described as a upper sweep over the keeper's head for four. Another boundary, this time more conventional from Afridi, over the covers for four. Sammy leaking runs and Afridi works him to deep point for three runs. Afridi gets his fifty, a very useful knock for Pakistan.

  •

    Over 32 Pak 116/5 (Misbah 21, Afridi 42)

Marlon Samuels into the attack, to Afridi. Samuels is a similar bowler to Afridi, with his pace variations and quicker ones. It will be interesting to see how he faces Samuels. A wide down leg, lots of extras from West Indies today, 16 so far. Another wide and the batsmen run two. And another wide, this is unbelievable. Finally the end of the over, will Pakistan take the powerplay?

Narine starts his first over, and starts with a wide that misses everyone, Misbah runs two but is not keen on the third. Another wide, Misbah misses this one. It was the slower ball from Bravo, Afridi mishits it but manages to get it over long on comfortably for another big six.
