Morgado do Reguengo: In spite of its relative youth, Morgado do Reguengo has a very mature feel, mostly thanks to a dedicated tree planting programme that has seen a great many olive trees establish themselves across the landscape. This has added to the aesthetic beauty of the natural surroundings, which are dominated by the imposing Minchique mountains.
Herdade dos Salgados: The 6,649 yard layout was originally conceived by Pedro de Vasconcelos, but has since been contributed to, most notably by Scotsman Robert Muir Graves. The course has been sympathetically built into a protected wildlife area, where many rare bird species make their home. Salgados has a tremendous variety of holes, ensuring that it is an intriguing test for golfers of all abilities. The signature hole, arguably the first, invites golfers to thread the ball onto a fairway bordered on both sides by beautiful and imposing water features.
Alamos: Characterised by two large lakes and great views of the Monchique mountains, Alamos Golf is set beside its sister course Morgado in beautiful unspoilt countryside offering a delightful variety of holes. The setting is a large 980 hectare estate through condense, undulating valleys. A key feature is that of the course's large greens, often raised above the fairway approach involving several tiers, which place emphasis on good putting skills. Accuracy of approach shots can also be questioned by deep, surrounding bunkers providing a genuine and exciting test of golf.
