TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE "NINE LIVES" EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH VIDEO GAME GUITAR HERO
Def Leppard, Britain's greatest arena rock band, are set to bag another first as new single "Nine Lives" will be available to buy - and play - through the Guitar Hero video game a week in advance of the single's retail and online release. 65 million album selling Sheffield-based rock band Def Leppard are to make the first single from their forthcoming album Songs From The Sparkle Lounge available to own through video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
Available in all good record shops now as part of a three-track Def Leppard song pack, new single Nine Lives will be playable exclusively on Xbox 360 consoles a week ahead of its debut in stores and through online music distribution services. It will then be made available through Playstation 3 on the 8th May 2008. The pack will include "Nine Lives" and classic Leppard tracks "Rock Of Ages" and "Photograph".
It is the first time ever a band or artist has released a new single ahead of its traditional launch through a videogame. And to celebrate, we have some amazing prizes:

Owners of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to download the Def Leppard track pack and the game allows players to virtually perform celebrated guitar tracks with its innovative replica guitar peripheral.
