Win Hard-Fi Best Of
Ten Years. Three Top Ten Albums, two of which were Number Ones. A double platinum debut containing songs that made them the most played band on Radio One in 2006, when Radio One played guitar bands. Five consecutive sold out nights at Brixton Academy, the only band to ever do that. Number One singles in Peru, sold out stadiums across the globe, jumping the fence at Heathrow to film a legendary video, upsetting the critics with an album cover that has been copied from here to Australia and back again, Hard-Fi's first ten years have been the stuff that makes being in a band seem like the best idea in the world.
To celebrate a decade of Hard-Fi comes 'Best Of 2004-2014', a compilation of not just the hits; the 'Cash Machine', 'Hard To Beat' and Suburban Knights' that comprise a large part of the soundtrack to the streets of urban Britain for that period but also the fan and band favourites found across 'Stars Of CCTV', 'Once Upon A Time In The West' and 'Killer Sounds', the band's three studio albums. With Hard-Fi in the studio at the present time, a tantalising glimpse of what comes next is also present in the shape of 'Move Over', a suitably engaged piece of social commentary that comes clothed in a Rhodes wobble; an barbed iron lyrical fist in the smoothest of velvet gloves.
