Thilan Samaraweera has been recalled to Sri Lanka's one-day squad for the five-match series against Pakistan.
Samaraweera, a Test regular in the middle order, last played for his country in the 50-over format in November 2005.
Opening batsman Upul Tharanga, overlooked for June's World Twenty20 in England, also returns, while selectors have called up 23-year-old Mahela Udawatte, a left-handed opener, and fast bowler Lasith Malinga.
