Australia opener David Warner has been handed an official reprimand for showing dissent during the fourth ODI with Sri Lanka.

Warner could not hide his feelings after being judged lbw - having nicked the ball on to his pads - to Thisara Perera for 60 during Sunday's match, which was later abandoned because of rain.

He was reported by the umpires for "showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match".

Warner pleaded guilty to a level one offence after the match and that meant he was not summoned to a formal hearing.
