England seamer Matthew Hoggard returns for Yorkshire, as the Tykes look to get their Division One title challenge back on track.

The White Rose county slumped to a record innings and 126-run defeat to Lancashire at home last time out.

But Hoggard is now fit to return from his back injury, as Darren Gough's side seek to close the gap on league leaders and defending champions Sussex.

South African batsman Jacques Rudolph has recovered from his illness, and comes back into the 13-man squad for Kidderminster.

Left hand bat Andrew Gale misses out as a result, while left-arm spinner David Wainwright will provide England youngster Adil Rashid with some extra competition.

Zimbabwean bowler Ray Price is set to make his first County Championship appearance of the season for Worcestershire.

The slow left-armer has not yet featured in the four-day game, despite being a one-day regular for the Royals.

Price comes into the side in place of seamer Doug Bollinger, as Worcestershire look to lift themselves off the bottom of the standings.

The Pears slumped to a disappointing 285-run defeat at Hampshire last time out, and they must start winning soon if they are to avoid the drop.
