Derbyshire will hand Wavell Hinds a long-awaited debut when Worcestershire visit Chesterfield.

The Jamaican all-rounder's Kolpak contract has finally been approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Hinds replaces seam bowler Kevin Dean in Derbyshire's starting XI, while wicketkeeper James Pipe has recovered from a finger injury and regains the gloves from Freddie Klokker.

Seam bowling duo Greg Smith (arm muscle tear) and Tom Lungley (toe) both miss out due to injury.

Worcestershire recall Gareth Andrew to their squad in place of Chris Whelan.

The seamer missed, who was signed from Somerset during the winter, has recovered from the heel injury that kept him out of the recent victory over Essex.

Matt Mason remains unable to make a return as he is still struggling with a groin injury.
