Lewry: named in Sussex squad
Jason Lewry is fit enough to return to Sussex's squad for the visit of Surrey to Hove.
The veteran left-arm seamer had been struggling with a knee problem since bowling just six overs against MCC at the start of April.
But he has recovered sufficiently to be named in a 14-man squad, although a decision on his participation will be left until Wednesday morning.
"Jason is recovering well," said Sussex coach Mark Robinson.
"We will take the decision whether he is ready to play in due course."
Lewry's fellow seamer James Kirtley and off-spinner Ollie Rayner are both included in the squad, but are likely to be surplus to requirements when the final XI is named.
Surrey have recalled leg-spinner Chris Schofield to their squad for the trip to the south coast.
Schofield could feature as a second slow bowler alongside Saqlain Mushtaq, who took six wickets during the second innings of last week's draw at Durham.
Seam bowler Jade Dernbach is the only other addition in Surrey's squad to the XI that was on duty at the Riverside.
