Ramprakash: Set to return

Warwickshire are expected to make a host of changes for the LV County Championship relegation battle with Surrey.

Heath Streak's imminent retirement means Neil Carter could return for only his second start in an injury-truncated campaign.

Captain Darren Maddy is away on international duty with the Twenty20 squad so former skipper Michael Powell could return to the fold, with Tim Ambrose taking over the armband.

Fit-again Ian Westwood will return at the top of the order while left-arm spinner Ant Botha is in line to make his championship debut.

Seamers Tim Groenewald and Stuart Hole have also been named in the squad.

Surrey welcome back Mark Ramprakash for the trip to Edgbaston having missed Tuesday night's Pro40 League match against Kent due to illness.

Harbhajan Singh is also expected to play after being given permission by the Indian authorities less than a week before the start of the World Twenty20.

Left-hand Surrey academy batsman Arun Harinath is also included alongside seamer Jade Dernbach, but Chris Schofield is absent having already joined up with the England Twenty20 squad.
