Middlesex Crusaders 145-8 Innings Complete (E J G Morgan 52) v Durham Dynamos 146-5
Durham beat Middlesex by 5 wkts
Phil Mustard struck a quick-fire 49 as Durham Dynamos chased down a target of 146 to win their Pro40 Division Two match against Middlesex Crusaders by five wickets.
A three-hour rain delay meant the game was reduced to 19 overs per side prior to the start and Middlesex captain Ed Smith opted to bat first after winning the toss.
Irish batsman Eoin Morgan top-scored with 52 to help the Crusaders muster 145-8, while Durham's former New Zealand off-spinner Paul Wiseman collected 3-30.
Wicketkeeper Mustard gave the hosts' chase a flying start with 49 from just 21 balls after his opening partner Michael di Venuto early.
Di Venuto was making his comeback after a month out due to a broken finger and was trapped lbw by Chaminda Vaas with the first ball of the innings.
But Kyle Coetzer (28), Dale Benkenstein (30) and Gordon Muchall (25) all made solid contributions to ensure Durham got home with three balls to spare.
