Lea Tahuhu: Claimed 4-27 for New Zealand
New Zealand recovered from their loss to Australia by recording an emphatic win against Sri Lanka at the ICC Women's World Cup.
New Zealand had been thumped by seven wickets by their trans-Tasman rivals, however the responded with an eight-wicket rout in Mumbai.
Sri Lanka had inflicted a shock victory over England at the start of the competition; however they were completely blown away by New Zealand.
Lea Tahuhu claimed 4-27 while Sian Ruck weighed in with 3-16 as Sri Lanka were skittled for 103. Dilani Manodara offered some resistance to reach 34.
New Zealand wasted little time as openers Frances Mackay (39no) and Suzie Bates (37) set about the total.
And although Inoka Ranaweera claimed two quick wickets a quickfire 29 not out from Sophie Devine saw New Zealand home.
