Darren Stevens: Took 5-36 for Kent on Sunday
Sam Billings: Scored 143 as Kent romped home against Derbyshire
Sam Billings and Darren Stevens took centre stage at Canterbury to seal an emphatic 111-run win over Derbyshire for the Kent Spitfires.
Kent wrapped up their 161st Canterbury Week with their fourth sucess of the Group C campaign secured with over eight overs to spare.
Billings' blistering knock of 143 helped the hosts to a total of 248-6 before Stevens (5-36) took control with the ball to help skittle out Derbyshire for 137.
Rob Key and Sam Northeast had departed without scoring but from inauspicious beginnings Stevens (40) and Billings steadied the ship, with the latter reaching his century from 97 balls with 11 fours.
He really cut loose when in tandem with Geraint Jones (38) as the two wicketkeepers added 117 in 14.1 overs.
Needing 6.22 an over for an unlikely win, Derbyshire were never in it after a fine opening spell from Mark Davies (3-25)
Stevens then supllied the coup de grace including a 19-ball spell of 5-7 that capped a fine home display.
