Ajit Chandila: hat-trick hero
Ajit Chandila took a hat-trick to help Rajasthan Royals record a 45-run win over Pune Warriors in the Indian Premier League.
The off-spinner dismissed removed Jesse Ryder (one) and Sourav Ganguly (two) with the final two balls of the first over and Robin Uthappa (six) on his wau to figures of 4-13.
At one stage the Warriors were 26-4 chasing a target of 171, though Australian duo Callum Ferguson (23) and Steven Smith (37) did offer them a ray of hope.
However both fell to the off-spin of Johan Botha (2-25) and although Angelo Mathews made 23 Pune fell well short in the end, finishing on 125-9.
Shane Watson picked up 2-19 with the ball having earlier struck a brutal half-century in Rajathan's total of 170-4.
The Australian all-rounder made 58 from 31 deliveries, hitting four sixes and six fours, as he shared a second-wicket partnership of 94 with Ajinkya Rahane (61).
Rahul Dravid had made a breezy 21 at the top of the order before becoming the first of three victims for left-arm seamer Ashish Nehra, who was comfortably the pick of the Pune attack.
