The third one-day international between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was washed out by rain with only 38 deliveries bowled.

Less than 30 minutes of play was possible at Colombo as Pakistan made 12-2 before the bad weather intervened, Mohammad Hafeez (nought) and Azhar Ali (seven) the men out.

The abandonment means the series remains locked at 1-1 with two matches remaining.

The teams will hope for better weather at the R Premadasa Stadium (RPS) on Saturday, before concluding the five-match series at the same venue on Monday.
