Kemar Roach: career-best 41 with the bat took West Indies to brink of victory
Shivnarine Chanderpaul: saw West Indies home with 43 not out
West Indies sealed their first series win over New Zealand for 16 years with a five-wicket victory in the second Test at Sabina Park.
Resuming at 135-4 on the fourth morning in pursuit of 206, West Indies lost only nightwatchman Kemar Roach in adding the 71 runs they required to complete a 2-0 series success.
Roach, on 10 overnight, advanced to a Test-best 41 before being caught at backward point by Tim Southee from spinner Kane Williamson's bowling with 23 still required.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul (43no) and Narsingh Deonarine (15no) saw the job through to its conclusion, Chanderpaul finishing it off with a single to third-man off Williamson in the 21st over of the day.
The result earned West Indies their first series win against a team other than Bangladesh or Zimbabwe in the last three years and their first clean sweep since the 2002 series in Bangladesh.
New Zealand failed to give their outgoing coach John Wright a winning farewell. Defeat rounded off a difficult tour, in which they lost the T20s 2-0 and the ODIs 4-1.
