Sian Ruck: Took four wickets for New Zealand
Sophie Devine: Plundered 145 runs off 131 balls
A sensational century from Sophie Devine helped New Zealand record a comprehensive 150-run victory over South Africa at the ICC Women's World Cup.
Devine smashed six sixes and 13 boundaries en route to 145 off of 131 deliveries as New Zealand turned the match around.
Devine had come to the crease with the score on 27-2 but she quickly set about the South Africa attack. She shared a stand of 128 runs with Suzie Bates (72), while Sara McGlashan (32 off 36 balls) and Nicola Browne (40 not out of 20 balls) provided useful cameos to help the score on to 320-5.
And that target always looked beyond South Africa - especially after Savanna Cordes was dismissed with the third delivery of the opening over.
Susan Benade (37) and Shabnim Ismail (31) tried in vain to turn things around but four wickets from Sian Ruck (4-31) and three from Morna Nielsen (3-34) saw South Africa dismissed for 170.
