Thursday evening's Natwest Pro40 League Division One match at Old Trafford between Lancashire and Gloucestershire has been washed out without a ball being bowled.
After 24 hours of heavy rain in the Manchester area the fixture was abandoned prior to the scheduled 4.30pm (BST) start, even though the rain had begun to ease.
Despite the groundstaff's best efforts, the sodden outfield was deemed unsafe for play.
