India celebrate 2-1 series triumph
Fourth ODI
St Lucia
West Indies 27-1 v India
Match abandoned - rain
India claimed the one-day series in West Indies by a 2-1 margin after the final match was abandoned due to heavy rain.
The hosts had opted to bat first in the fourth instalment of the series in St Lucia but lost skipper Chris Gayle for a two-ball duck, caught behind off Ishant Sharma (1-17).
Ramnaresh Sarwan (12no) and Runako Morton (12no) rebuilt as West Indies reached 27-1 after three balls of the eighth over when play was halted by a downpour.
Although the rainfall later ceased, there was too much water in the outfield for play to resume and, after over two hours of waiting, the game was called off by umpires Clyde Duncan and Nigel Llong.
India won the first and third one-day internationals by respective margins of 20 runs and six wickets, sandwiching West Indies' eight-wicket triumph in the second game.
