Swann: Record haul
England were forced to dig deep before finally beating Bangladesh by 181 runs in the first Test in Chittagong.
Having removed five Bangladeshi wickets by tea on the fourth day, the victory had looked a formality.
However, a century from Junaid Siddique and 95 from Mushfiqur Rahim had frustrated the tourists before Graeme Swann was able to polish off the tail.
Swann finished with 5-127 after toiling away for 49 overs to collect 10 wickets in a Test match for the first time - becoming the first England spinner to achieve the feat on the subcontinent.
The hosts had resumed on 191-5 with survival their main objective rather than chasing down the 513 required for victory.
And Junaid and Mushfiqur proved doggedly resilient as they frustrated England's attack.
Together they were able to reach lunch with their wickets intact - despite England having taking the new ball 15 minutes into the final day.
Mushfiqur brought up his second successive half-century with a four off Stephen Finn, while Junaid brought up his maiden Test century with a classical straight drive.
Junaid's previous Test best had been 78, but he brought up three figures off 262 balls having hit 14 fours.
However, their stand of 167 for the sixth wicket was finally broken after the lunch interval.
Junaid, having looked more nervy after passing 100, was finally removed for 106 by Swann as he edged a looping delivery to Paul Collingwood at slip.
One-time opener Naeem Islam offered some big-hitting resistance as he attacked the bowling of Swann - smashing a four and a six in successive deliveries.
Swann, though, held his nerve to dismiss Mushfiqur, who was bowled after a rush of blood saw him come down the track in a bid to bring up his ton with a big shot.
Naeem continued to be a thorn in the side as he heaved Swann back over his head for six to take the total past 300.
Abdur Razzak, though, lasted just seven balls before Stuart Broad trapped him leg before, while Shahada Hossain (12) was caught by Matt Prior off Tim Bresnan having been dropped moments before by Collingwood.
Swann finally wrapped up the innings for match figures of 10-217 as Naeem (36) went for one big shot too many and was caught in the deep by Michael Carberry, leaving Bangladesh all out for 331.
