Troughton: launched four sixes
Rain denied Warwickshire Bears the chance to defend a total of 196-8 against Lancashire Lightning in the Friends Provident t20.
After being sent in at Edgbaston, home openers Jonathan Trott (42) and Neil Carter (39) put on 54 inside five overs.
And number four Jim Troughton built on that early momentum with a rapid half-century, slamming four fours and four sixes before being run out for 66 from the last ball of the innings.
Off-spinner Nathan McCullum was the pick of the visiting attack with 3-31 from his four overs.
Lancashire openers Tom Smith (2no) and Paul Horton (1no) made three runs in a solitary over from Carter (0-3) before the match was abandoned with each side taking one point to stay in contention in a congested North group.
