Friends Provident Trophy - Group D
Northampton
Northamptonshire 200-9 v Glamorgan 165-8 (D A Cosker 50 no, A J Hall 4-14)
Northamptonshire beat Glamorgan by 35 runs
Northamptonshire claimed their first win in this year's FP Trophy with a 35-run victory against Glamorgan.
Medium pacer Andrew Hall claimed 4-14 to destroy Glamorgan's hopes of chasing a target of 201 in a match reduced to 39 overs by poor weather.
Hall's six-over spell helped reduce the Welsh county, who were without overseas player Mark Cosgrove due to a hamstring injury, to 95-8.
Number nine Dean Cosker's unbeaten 50 from 36 balls at least put some respectability on the scoreboard, although the visitors still closed well short on 165-8.
Northants had compiled a total of 200-9 after being asked to bat first at the County Ground with middle-order trio Riki Wessels (39), Nicky Boje (32) and Stephen Crook (42) all making solid contributions.
Both sides now have two points in Group D, four behind leaders Lancashire.
