India face some tough decisions over the make-up of their batting line-up ahead of the second Test against Australia, which starts in Sydney on Wednesday.
The tourists were bowled out for scores of just 196 and 161 during the 337-run defeat in the series opener in Melbourne and at least one change is likely as they look to make an immediate response.
Rahul Dravid opened the batting at the MCG, but should return to the middle-order in Sydney, with Yuvraj Singh most likely to make way.
In that scenario Virender Sehwag, who averages 54.70 in Australia, could be recalled at the top of the order after 12 months out of the Test side.
Dinesh Karthik is the other contender to open alongside Wasim Jaffer although he struggled during the recent Tests against Pakistan, making Sehwag the more attractive option.
The bowling attack, which performed creditably in defeat in Melbourne, is set to be unchanged with Harbhajan Singh again playing as the second spinner to complement skipper Anil Kumble. Left-arm duo Zaheer Khan and RP Singh will share the new ball.
"Let me promise you the bad thing is over," said team manager Chetan Chauhan.
"It was a bad dream that is over and we have left it behind, the team is determined...we will bounce back in the series."
Changing a winning formula is not on the agenda for Australia, with tearaway paceman Shaun Tait again set to carry the drinks.
Ricky Ponting's men are chasing a 16th consecutive Test victory, a feat that would equal their own world record that was set under Steve Waugh's leadership in 2001.
