Boyd Rankin is confident he will be fit to lead Ireland's bowling attack at the World Twenty20. The Warwickshire seamer is recovering from a foot injury that forced him to miss Ireland's tour of Sri Lanka and the World T20 qualifying tournament. But he is now almost fully healed from the stress reaction in his right foot and is expecting to take his first tentative steps back on Warwickshire's pre-season tour of South Africa later in March. "I'll be fine for the West Indies," he said. "The foot is nearly fully healed now. "The plan is to start gradually building up bowling when Warwickshire arrive in South Africa for pre-season." Ireland begin their Group B World T20 campaign with a fixture against hosts West Indies in Guyana on April 30.
