Bowling duo pen one-year extensions at Trent Bridge
Nottinghamshire have handed new two-year contracts to pace bowler Andy Carter and left-arm off-spinner Graeme White.
The duo were already contracted until the end of the 2011 season but have now agreed deals that will see them remain at Trent Bridge for a further 12 months.
Lincoln-born Carter, 22, did not feature for the Outlaws in first-class cricket during 2010 but played in three championship matches during a brief loan spell at Essex.
He is now targeting a run of first-team opportunities following the departure of fellow seamer Ryan Sidebottom to title-rivals Yorkshire.
"I am delighted to be a member of a Championship-winning squad and I am looking to prove myself in all forms of the game next summer - especially the longer format," Carter told skysports.com.

"This winter I will be working hard on my strength and fitness and that should stand me in good stead come the start of next season."
White - who joined the club from Northamptonshire at the start of last season - made only one LV= County Championship appearance for Notts in the summer, but proved his worth with a number of significant contributions in the Clydesdale Bank 40 and Friends Provident t20.
Notts director of cricket Mick Newell said: "Graeme has quickly become a key member of our team in limited overs matches.
"He's here principally for his spin bowling but he has shown promise with the bat and has the potential to become a good all-rounder.
"He'll be keen to play four-day cricket and to do that he needs to show that he can bat at eight or nine which he's working hard to achieve.
"Andrew needed to gain first-class experience and did very well during his spell with Essex.
"He has genuine pace and has developed accuracy to go with it which will help to push his case for a place in our side next season."
