Sri Lanka spinner to bowl all five deliveries in ICC World Twenty20

Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis says he is ready to bowl all five of his delivery variations at the upcoming ICC World Twenty20. Mendis has spent the last nine months on the sidelines with a back injury but is set to return for the tournament, which will be held in his home country. The 27-year-old spinner has stated he was not able to show off his full repertoire when he was last in action but is now back to his best form after fully recovering from the back problem. Mendis' most famous delivery is the carom ball, which is flicked out of the hand with the middle finger, but he has displayed a number of different ways of generating spin in the past. "Now I'm ready to bowl all five deliveries," Mendis said. "The difficulty I had was that I wasn't able to bowl all five variations I used to deliver, with the injury. But after my recovery I can tell you that I have come back to my old form." Sri Lanka have named three spinners in their squad, with Rangana Herath and the uncapped Akhila Dhananjaya included alongside Mendis.
