The former England skipper is looking forward to seeing what stamp head coach Trevor Bayliss - a very successful one-day coach - puts on the one-day side in his first series in charge.
Bayliss presided over England's 3-2 win over the Aussies in the Ashes, and Nasser is backing England's exciting blend of young, talented cricketers in the T20I and ODI squads, like Alex Hales, Jason Roy and David Willey, to carry the good feeling from the Ashes into the shorter format.
Nasser also ponders if it was the right move for England to rest Joe Root, looks back at Ian Bell's ODI career after his retirement from white-ball cricket, and says it is an important series for legspinner Adil Rashid with the second spinner spot up for grabs in England's tour of the UAE to play Pakistan this winter.
