Morgan steered England to ODI series wins over Australia and New Zealand and says he would give the team "eight or nine out of 10" for their displays.
The 31-year-old, in Sky Studios in his role as an IPL pundit, also discussed the T20 competition in India - and how Ben Stokes' performances paved the way for his fellow England players.
Morgan missed out an IPL contract in 2018 and will also be absent for Middlesex during the opening weeks of the County Championship campaign due to a thumb injury.
The left-hander gave an update on his fitness, named the man who nobbled him in the nets, and explained why he is determined to play first-class cricket again, having not done so since 2015.
Plus, Morgan reflected on the Australian ball-tampering episode - he believes attempting to use sandpaper to alter the condition of the ball was "ridiculous" - and whether sledging in cricket is out of control.
