England followed up their Test series win over Sri Lanka with a dominant performance in the ODIs but which individuals most impressed?

Sky Sports pundit Nasser Hussain ran the rule over each of the 14 players to make an appearance for Eoin Morgan's side during the five-match series and delivered his verdict.

Jason Roy 9/10

He has been absolutely brilliant. He has consistently scored runs, and converted starts into two big hundreds. That's something I felt he needed to do - previously he was getting pretty 30s and 40s. The innings at The Oval, in particular, was magnificent.

Alex Hales 8/10
137 runs @ 68.50 - one hundred

After his brilliant knock with Roy at Edgbaston, it's a shame he picked up the back injury that has kept him out of the last couple of games. But he looks very organised now; the way he is shifting from Test matches to one-dayers, then back to Tests. It shows that he's now a complete player.

Adil Rashid

He's had a relatively quiet time of it for his lofty standards, just a normal summer for him so far as opposed to an out-of-this-world summer. He got runs, though, in the final ODI in Cardiff where he assessed conditions brilliantly. He worked out that a score of 300 was going to be plenty - he didn't go berserk. I have no worries about Root; a fantastic player.

Eoin Morgan 5/10
85 runs @ 28.33

He has captained very well once again, exceptionally in fact. I'm a little bit concerned that he's now gone a long time without an ODI fifty, but he seems to be striking the ball a lot better, so a score doesn't seem far away. I like the way he has been very positive when he's been out there - I prefer that to when he pushes and prods.

Jonny Bairstow 7/10
54 runs @ 27.00

He hasn't had a lot to do simply due to how good the top order have been, just 20s and 30s here and there. But he has been absolutely brilliant in the field; the best fielder on show from either side. He is someone who will be very difficult to leave out when Ben Stokes comes back in. A difficult decision for England.

Jos Buttler 8/10
180 runs @ 90.00 - two fifties

He scored 90-odd in the first game, and he smashed it absolutely everywhere in his final knock in Cardiff, a brilliant 70 off 45 balls. He seems to like playing against Sri Lanka, it brings out the best in him. His keeping has also been brilliant; it looks like he is picking Adil Rashid much better now.

Moeen Ali 5/10
Nine runs @ 4.50
One wicket @ 168.00; Economy: 6.22

He hasn't done a lot really. He has bowled ok, but been in and out of the side at the expense of Chris Jordan. I'd like to see a little bit more from Moeen. We saw what a fantastic player he is in the second Test at Durham when he scored that 150. His stats in the series haven't been good and he will be looking over his shoulder a little bit as Rashid has gone past him as the No 1 spinner.

Chris Woakes 8/10
112 runs @ N/A - one fifty
Five wickets @ 45.50; Econ: 4.93

Very good. Very consistent. That knock of 95 in the tied first game at Trent Bridge proved absolutely vital. He always takes wickets, uses his short ball really well and is quicker than you think. Plus, he gives England another option at the death. At the beginning of this summer he was someone who England were perhaps looking to leave out at times, whereas now he is very difficult to leave out.

David Willey 8/10
10 wickets @ 26.80 - one four-wicket haul; Econ: 5.74

It's like gold dust to be able to take wickets with and swing that new ball - 50 overs is a long time if you don't take wickets early. He constantly strikes early; every time he plays it seems he gets a wicket with that new ball. Plus, he has the added bonus of that left-arm variety. We haven't seen much of his batting but he's another good hitter to have down the order as well as a top fielder.

Liam Plunkett 8/10
10 wickets @ 27.10; Econ: 5.89

Firstly, to come in and smash that final ball at Trent Bridge for six like he did was fantastic. And his bowling has been awesome; he will go for the odd boundary but he has also got wicket-taking potential. In those middle overs now, England have got wrist spin with Rashid and raw pace from Plunkett to call on. A real find in this series.

Adil Rashid 9/10
Six wickets @ 38.00; Econ: 4.65

He has been brilliant. He bowls very few poor deliveries now, gives England such great control as well as wicket-taking potential. A lot of one-day sides have identified that wrist spin is absolutely vital and Rashid is delivering in that role for England. Plus, he gives you runs - probably the best number 11 in world cricket.

James Vince 7/10
51 runs @ 51.00 - one fifty

Such an elegant player. He has a long future for England, although one thing he may have to realise is that it's not how, it's how many. He soon will have to convert scores into big hundreds, but as soon as he does, everyone will be gushing about him because he is a pleasure to watch.

Chris Jordan 6/10
One wicket @ 89.00; Econ: 5.23

A steady job. He hasn't had much to do, and I think he's a bit of a rhythm cricketer so I don't think it does him much good being in and out of the side. He needs to play a lot to get into some form, but another good all-round cricketer for England.
