That came after Chris Woakes (4-60) took three wickets in his opening five-over spell - dismissing Lokesh Rahul (5) and danger-man, Virat Kohli (8), in one over.

Dhoni arrived at the crease with India 25-3, but joined Yuvraj in dismantling the England attack despite the early wickets.

Yuvraj raced through to a 14th ODI ton, and fourth against England, off 98 balls, striking 21 fours and three sixes in his innings.

Dhoni, meanwhile, blasted 10 boundaries and six sixes in his knock, though it could possibly have been seven but for a pull shot of his smashing into a spider-cam and being ruled a dead ball, with Alex Hales also lurking for a potential catch.

India batsman MS Dhoni was in full-on destructive mode as he smashed a camera alongside his many sixes on the way to a fantastic century.

England captain Eoin Morgan (102) led from the front in reply, scoring a fine century of his own, off 80 balls, but was run-out in the penultimate over as his side slipped to an agonising 15-run defeat to surrender the series with a game to play.
