Former England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones will play for the All-Star team in the Hong Kong Sixes after Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi dropped out.
The big-hitting Afridi decided against playing in the Hong Kong Sixes at the weekend after he was selected to play in Pakistan's one-day series against South Africa.
India opener Virender Sehwag has also pulled out of the Hong Kong event in order to play for the India Blue side at the Challenger Trophy in Ahmedabad.
Kent gloveman Jones will now run out for the All-Star team, which will be captained by legendary spinner Shane Warne.
Australian paceman Glenn McGrath is also on the All-Star team, alongside Test cricket's all-time leading run-scorer Brian Lara.
"Any time you have the chance to play on a team that boasts players such as Shane, Brian, Glenn and all the other guys it is very exciting," said Jones.
"I cannot wait to have a crack at this style of the game alongside some of the biggest names in world cricket."
Hong Kong, England, Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka and South Africa are all represented at the tournament, which is being played from October 27-8.
The competition has been running since 1992.
