England have recalled Ravi Bopara and Ryan Sidebottom for the fourth Test against West Indies at the Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Bopara, called up from the second-string England Lions' tour of New Zealand last week, goes straight into the starting XI at number six in the batting order due to Andrew Flintoff's absence with a hip injury.
The Essex batsman, who last played Test cricket in Sri Lanka 14 months ago, was preferred to Ian Bell as Flintoff's replacement after scoring a century in the warm-up fixture against the Barbados Cricket Association President's XI.
Steve Harmison has been dropped for Sidebottom in the only change to the bowling attack from the drawn third Test at the Antigua Recreation Ground.
Off-spinner Graeme Swann is fit to retain his place after deciding to delay surgery on an elbow injury.
Wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose also returns to the side for his 11th cap as Matt Prior has gone home on paternity leave.
West Indies named an unchanged line-up from the one which clung on for a stalemate in Antigua.
England, who trail 1-0 in the five-match series, opted to bat first after Andrew Strauss won the toss.
