South Africa have named off-spinner Johan Botha in their squad for the World Twenty20 despite doubts about the legality of his bowling.
Botha's action was reported to the International Cricket Council by match officials following the fourth one-day international against Australia in Port Elizabeth on April 13.
The 27-year-old, who is South Africa's vice-captain in limited-overs cricket, is currently undergoing an independent analysis by the ICC's panel of human movement specialists.
"We expect the results in two weeks. Until then we assume he is available (for selection)," Cricket South Africa media officer Michael Owen-Smith told
Reuters.
Kallis returns
South Africa's 15-man squad also includes Jacques Kallis, who missed the home Twenty20 matches against Australia in March.
"I am delighted with the squad the selectors have given me," coach Mickey Arthur said in a statement.
"It has plenty of options, great depth to the batting and plenty of bowling options. It is also an outstanding fielding unit."
Selection convenor Mike Procter added: "Our cricket is entering an exciting period.
"We are top of the one-day international rankings but have never won a major trophy and this presents the opportunity to do so in a limited-overs format."
The World Twenty20 takes place in England from June 5-21. South Africa are drawn in Group D alongside New Zealand and Scotland.
