Kervezee signs an extended deal to remain at New Road
Holland batsman Alexei Kervezee has committed his future to Worcestershire until the end of the 2012 season.
The 19-year-old moved to New Road in 2007 and is one of just five players to have featured in a World Cup aged just 17.
He averages 27.57 with the bat in 14 first-class matches so far, and featured for the Dutch in their shock ICC World Twenty20 triumph over England earlier this year.
The Royals have therefore rewarded the youngster with a new two-year contract extension as they fight to maintain their status in the top flight of the LV County Championship.
