Tom Kohler-Cadmore (75 off 40 balls) and Shaun Marsh (60 off 44) thrashed 82 runs for the second wicket as Vikings, who beat Lancashire in a Roses thriller on Friday night, posted an ultimately inferior 182-5, Adil Rashid (26no off 17) putting on 50 with Marsh at the end of the innings.
Tim Bresnan, who claimed three wickets and a run-out in the final over against Lancashire en route to figures of 6-19, was unable to defend seven runs from his last over on Saturday, Mat Pillans drilling the winning boundary as Leicester triumphed with two balls to spare.
Luke Ronchi (57 off 27) thrashed a 19-ball fifty for Leicestershire up top - the New Zealander hitting seven fours and three maximums - while Colin Ackermann struck an unbeaten 58 from 47 deliveries in the Foxes' first home win of the Blast campaign.
Kohler-Cadmore's first half-century for Yorkshire since his mid-season switch from Worcestershire contained 12 fours and two sixes and came after Adam Lyth (one) was dismissed in the first over - David Willey (nine) and Sarfraz Ahmed (two) also falling cheaply for the visitors.
Liam Plunkett then scooped three wickets for the away side but fifth-placed Leicestershire prevailed to move level on 13 points with third-placed Yorkshire in the North Group.
Yorkshire have one game remaining, a must-win clash at home to Northamptonshire on Thursday, while Leicestershire have two, at home to Derbyshire (Thursday) and at Nottinghamshire (Friday).
Sam Northeast's side skittled Somerset for 149 in 18.5 overs, New Zealand quick Adam Milne bagging 5-11 - the best T20 figures for Kent - with his dismissal of Steven Davies (17) coming courtesy of a magnificent one-handed catch from countryman Jimmy Neesham at short midwicket.
Sam Billings (56no) then clobbered a 35-ball fifty - his 11th in T20 cricket - as Kent coasted home in the penultimate over to jump from last place to sixth in the table, a point behind Somerset, who occupy the fourth and final qualification spot.
Kent and Somerset each have two games remaining - the former visiting Essex (Thursday) and hosting Surrey (Friday), with the latter entertaining Glamorgan (Sunday) and travelling to Hampshire (Friday).
