Opener Adams was joined by all-rounders Liam Dawson and Chris Wood in signing new deals which will keep him at the Ageas Bowl until 2015.
And left-arm fast bowler James Tomlinson signed a new deal which keeps him on the south coast until 2014.
Adams led Hampshire to a limited overs double last season, winning the Friends Life t20 and CB40 titles.
Dawson cemented his place in the side last summer, scoring runs at the top of the order and his spin has become a major weapon in one-day cricket.
Wood, the last-ball hero of their CB40 triumph over Warwickshire, is being tipped as a future England one-day bowler.
"They have come through the Hampshire system and have an important part to play if we are to build on the success of 2012," said Hants boss Giles White.
"Jimmy and Tommo are both selfless, committed cricketers who put the team first. They continue to be great role models and it is good news that they have extended their stay.
"Equally, Liam and Chris are young all-rounders with real potential and, with continued development, have the opportunity to become significant contributors in all forms of the game."
Assistant coach Craig White has also agreed a deal to stay at the club until the end of the 2014 season.
He said: "I'm thrilled to sign a new two-year deal. The team's success in two competitions meant I really enjoyed my first season at Hampshire and it was an easy decision to stay on at the club.
"I look forward to, hopefully, enjoying more success over the next few years."
