Royal London One-Day Cup table-toppers Essex and Worcestershire discovered their prospective semi-final opponents early after rain washed out three matches in the last round of South Group fixtures.

With matches between Gloucestershire and Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, and Middlesex and Somerset all abandoned without a ball being bowled, Essex, who beat Kent by 57 runs (D/L) at Canterbury, learned that they will host the winners of next month's quarter-final eliminator between Somerset and Nottinghamshire at Taunton.

Worcestershire's opponents at New Road will be either Yorkshire, runners-up behind them in the North Group, or 2015 and 2016 finalists Surrey - who will meet in their eliminator match at Headingley.

The Lord's final will take place on Saturday July 1.
